Ready For More
Competitive Play?
Reston Select (Travel) Basketball competes in the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League, giving athletes a more competitive basketball experience than the Reston Hoops House program.
A Higher Level Of Competition.
Reston Select Basketball has participated in FCYBL for more than 30 years. FCYBL establishes league policies, schedules games, and provides referees for its competitive winter league.
What Makes Select Different?
Select teams play at a more competitive level than the Reston Hoops House program. Athletes must try out, and roster selections are based on tryout performance, skills, coachability, attitude, and commitment.
Players who are not offered a Select opportunity are encouraged to register for the Reston Hoops House League.
Select Basketball Tryout Schedule
Players must register for Select Basketball tryouts before participating. Review the schedule for your athlete's grade and arrive early enough to check in before the session begins.
Advanced fourth-grade players should attend the appropriate fifth-grade boys or girls tryout. Dates, times and locations are subject to change, so please check this page before traveling.
